Cetti
Cetti is a very small 3 year old at about 50 lbs . She was the focus of much media attention in Guam due to the horrible conditions she endured. A very active and playful girl, she does slow down to appreciate attention and is good about following established routines. She enjoys walking on leash and riding in the car. Due to being near starvation and abandoned, this survivor is quite focused on food and displays signs of separation anxiety. She may be vocal for a short period, but is fine with spending time in a crate. Cetti is extremely reactive to dogs of other breeds and should not live with cats or other small animals.
Update from Cetti! "It is true that I'm a little small, but trust me, I'm all Greyhound. I really like to be the center of attention and would rather not share my new family with any other animals. I realize that some dogs like to hang out with cats, but in all honesty, I just want to chase them. I love to give kisses to all the volunteers up here and my favorite trick is to do laps around the yard. Please come and visit me soon. Love, Cetti" |

Shayla  Adopted 8/21/10
Shayla is virtually a pup, born in April of 2009. A quick-study, she is well mannered and calm in nature. Her more playful side shows itself at times and she is then very entertaining! This attractive adolescent is an at-the-hip sort of dog with a nice balance of independence. In initial small animal testing, she did well with small dogs, but was too interested in the cats to be considered cat-safe. |

Celeste Adopted 8/21/10
Celeste is a 3-year old black brindle female. Celeste broke her hock in a race at the end of June. It was immediately splinted and is healing well! Luckily, this girl did not need surgery to repair the break. She has been in a foster home since she arrived and will need to wear a splint and have limited exercise until the end of August, when the amount of exercise can gradually increase. She is housetrained and has learned to use the dog door. She is a wiggler with a helicopter tail wag and smiles when she gets really excited - especially first thing in the morning. She is very affectionate and would love to be a lap dog in her forever home! |

Ja Ja Adopted 8/8/10
Ja Ja is an all around ‘Good Dog’ with his funny ears and go-with-the-flow attitude. At five years old, not much surprises this polite gentleman. A home with small children, dogs and/or cats, along with a soft bed, would be bliss for Ja Ja. |

Stacy
Adopted 8/6/10
Stacy is a poster-child with her perky ears and "what's up?" personality. She is 3 years old and gets along with other large dogs, but not small fuzzies. |
