Arlene
Arlene was dropped off in the dropbox of a Southern California shelter. Her ears were fly-bitten and her teeth needed attention, but her shining spirit was not broken. When her time was up at the shelter, greyhound rescue groups were contacted due to her breed mix of airedale and greyhound. (This has been confirmed with DNA testing.) This red girl is about four years old, weighs approximately 65 lbs, and has the cutest head-tilt ever! She walks well on a leash, will self-entertain with toys, and is enjoying the new chapter in her life as an indoor dog. Arlene would do best in a home with no cats and introductions to small dogs should be done with care. With her searching eyes, this optimistic gal is always looking for attention. |

Genesee Adopted 12/29/11
Genesee is a four year old, dark brindle sweetheart. She is hesitant in unfamiliar environments, but loves all people. Having never met a cat or smaller dog, she acted timid and unsure during testing, but the cat and dog liked her! Highly active children might by too much for her careful approach to life. |
