Solano Stroll
September 10, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Please join us for the 2017 Solano Stroll. On the border between Berkeley and Albany, the Stroll is a collection of arts, crafts and non-profits-including GFFL. This is a long, busy event. It runs from 10-5. There is a community parade that starts at 10am. It includes bands so noise sensitive dogs should avoid this time.
The event is busy and we do not expect folks to stay the entire time. If you can help for a 2 hour shift that would be wonderful. We will supply shade, water for humans and dogs, some chairs and dog beds. We will also be collecting shoes.
We are on the southwest side of Solano Ave which is good if it is sunny, between Pomona and Key Route, same location as last year. The weather can be chilly. Bring a coat for yourself and your dog! We are grouped together with other animal groups, so there may be cats next to us. New this year, dogs other than service dogs are not allowed. (We are exempted.)
The more greyhounds we have the more people are drawn into to chat and potentially become adopters!
