East Bay SPCA Adopt a thon

Come join us by the water at Jack London Square in Oakland. We usually get lots of attention and curiosity about the breed. It’s a lovely location, great way to spend a few hours, then take a leisurely stroll along the square or stop for lunch.

Every year, the East Bay SPCA hosts more than 30 local animal shelters and rescues at beautiful Jack London Square in Oakland! As hosts, we aim to raise awareness about the thousands of homeless animals in our community and feature more than 300 of these adoptable pets to the public. Animals available at the event include dogs, cats, rats, birds, and more.

Golden Gate Kennel Dog Show

Have you ever wondered about the fastest dog in the world? Come see us at our booth Saturday and Sunday, we would love to talk to you about the Retired Racing Greyhound.

This is the only event that we can NOT bring our dogs.
Have you ever wanted to check out a certain breed upclose? Here is your opportunity. Come help at our booth (couple of hours) and talk about the breed(s) we all love, then go take a stroll and have a chat with other dog lovers, GSD, Shelties, Poodles oh my!!!

CANCELLED Martinez Meet and Greet

We value the time and energy our volunteers put in at our Meet & Greets. In the interest of keeping our volunteers and their families healthy and to minimize possible exposure to the Corona Virus, we are canceling March and April and will reevaluate the rest of the year on an as needed basis.

Please come visit us and Meet a Greyhound and possibly one of its cousins (Saluki, Galgo, Borzoi) who will be thrilled to Greet you.

If its raining, we will be inside.
